This was such a cute read. I really enjoyed the plot points and the development of our two main characters. I also was excited to see that there was some world-building going on. We got to see some of King Ash's background and why he might be the way he is. I also enjoyed seeing another sister and hearing about how different they were. We are going to see so many of Adrienne's siblings and I just can't wait. Also, this Black Knight and Elves plot could get interesting.

This was a really cute first installment. It really is a feminist princess story, one that I think so many young girls should read. I think it really kicks in for someone my age who still grew up with Disney Princess unreal expectations, but then sees how the world is changing in the most positive way for women. We're not quite there, but we're taking steps to become more than just a princess waiting for a rescuer and that's saying something.

I've been a little disappointed in the past few installments in the series. I think that there has been a change in the direction in the series in some ways (mainly in character development). I was glad to see that the plot was continuing on its main quest as I had felt previously that we were getting lost along the way. I am hoping for more action or a little more drama in the next installment in the series. Although these last few volumes haven't been my favorite, I still enjoy the series and the romances so far.

I don't think that this was the strongest instalment into this series, but that doesn't mean that it was bad by any means. I think that the character development just wasn't on a roll quite as much as it was in Book #3. I do wonder what will happen to characters that have been torn from the story and how other characters will deal with loses of different people in their lives.

This instalment helped us to better understand the world and what is capable within it. I also enjoyed the developing relationship and hearing backstories of some of our main characters. I loved that we got to know more especially about Sunshine. I'm curious to see where the plot will go now that we know some of the other characters true feelings for each other. I'm excited to read the next instalment.

I'm loving that this series is doing so many things for women. It talks about sexuality and the need for equal rights in all employment but in a way that's ridiculously fun. I also think that there is just a wonderful cast of characters that I can't wait to read more about. Slowly but surely we are learning about each person's strengths and weaknesses. It's been interesting and fun. The references to our time period have been given the grateful nod and I can't wait to continue laughing with the characters in the next instalment. That being said this volume contained some really intense drama, so maybe the next one will rattle other emotions as I read it.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It was a perfect mix of nerd references and girl power. Everything that I really loved about Lumberjanes at the start of the series. I also really enjoyed the aspect of LGBT that might be present later on in the series. I think it is interesting to see the flashbacks of Raven's memories and see how things changed. I also wonder about what the brothers said to the father about the need to lock her up. I'm curious to see where the stories go and how the stories intertwine.
