First Line: “The cave wound upward through the earth, and Pollux grasped Castor’s hand as he led him across the uneven ground.”

“A vacation in Greece sounds like the perfect way for Kate Winters to spend her first sabbatical away from the Underworld… until she gets caught up in an immortal feud going back millennia. Castor and Pollux have been on the run from Zeus and Hades’ wrath for centuries, hiding from the gods who hunt them. The last person they trust is Kate, the new Queen of the Underworld. Nevertheless, she is determined to help their cause. But when it comes to dealing with immortals, Kate still has a lot to learn…”

My Rating: 4/5

This novella is only available as an ebook, I know that’s not the best way to start out a book review, but just in case you were looking for a hard cover you won’t be able to find one. Thought I’d give you guys the heads up.
So this book follows Kate through part of her summer travels. As we learned in the first book, Kate spends 6 winter month in Eden with Henry and 6 months away doing whatever she wants. And for her first time away she goes with James to Greece. That’s all I’ll give away in the book review, if you’re up for spoilers read the post below. This book was a short and easy read. I was excited to know what Kate did when she wasn’t with Henry and we got to learn so much more about the characters who are gods and goddesses. The setting was also an interesting idea. The place where these gods originated. I was hoping to learn more about Kate’s stay in Greece but I guess perhaps in the next book we will know more.
THANK YOU AIMEE CARTER FOR SHOWING THAT THE GODS AREN’T ALWAYS FAIR!

Thanks for reading,
Love,

Sidny xoxo
