Change of Name/URL

New TBR

So after moving home from the city I've made some organizational changes. I've decided to have a TBR pile that is organized by authors last name. And since I've boughten so many books from newer years I'm trying to read newer books first. Many of the books I buy are the first in a series which means I will continue the series after I read the first book if I like it. 

My immediate TBR is:

Where are the posts?!?

Hi ladies and gents,
I know its been a long time since I have posted a review and/or spoiler. This may seem alarming to some, but likely not to much.
So the real question is, what have I been up to and do I have an excuse?
I've come up with an idea to get more reviews and spoilers posted regularly I just need some time to perfect the idea. My new goal is to read 4 books a month and hope to be posting once a week. So I have read 2/4 books and will be prewriting spoilers and reviews about a month in advance of posting. This is how I hope to get more books read and posts more regular on this blog. 
We all know that life is busy so I don't want to waste anyone's time, but still really want to share my passion. I have also thought about doing book hauls and this summer I've bought many of books so I hope to be posting that soon for everyone to read!

If anyone has any suggestions, comments or questions, please email me or leave a comment below and I will get to you asap.

Update: Construction?

So if you're a regular on this blog,  then you've noticed some changes. I'm changing some of the layout and deciding what suits me now as an adult, as I haven't changed a lot of the design until now. I've changed so much in the past 5 or so years and this design just didn't match who I was anyone. If anyone has any ideas of what might look better or work better for readers, please let me know.

Fall Update

I thought that a fall update was necessary. As some of you may know, I am a college student about to complete her last year of college to become an Early Childhood Educator. This means that the blog will once again be going slow, slower than ever before likely. 

So for this reason I would like to apologize. As soon as I am done my education, I should be able to pick back up on my reading.

Happy Holiday

Hi there,

Update

I had planned to have another review available for this week but unfortunatley the book that I am currently reading, 40 Things I Want To Tell You by Alice Kuipers  has a massive print error where it is missing about 30 pages from the beginning of the books so I will be skipping this book for now and be moving on to Divergent by Veronica Roth.
Hopefully the people at HarperCollins will get back to me as soon as possible, but until then have a great week and have something for you soon.

Update and a THANK YOU!

It's been a long time since I've had the time to blog, so I'm glad that I have this oppurtonity to speak now. I just recently moved to my dorm room and it's ridiculously busy summer preparing for college and all that other kind of excitement that I haven't had the time to finish any books. Weird I know. What kinda reader am I?
So here's what's changed on the TBR list. I am no longer reading Fifty Shades Freed by E.L James for the simple reason that I was borrowing that book from someone in my home town and now I don't live there anymore. Sucks. I know! But hopefully someday I'll get the chance to take a peak at that series again.
For now though I've slipped between the covers of The Goddess Legacy by Aimee Carter.
Hope to have a review and spoiler out there soon.

Last but certainly not least, I owe a huge thank you to you guys for getting me to 10,000 page views. I would keep reviewing without them but knowing that someone out there reads as well and thinks that I have something worth reading is the icing on the cake (that was too many cliche's in one place whoops)

Thought I would let you know...

Hey guys, it's almost Friday! YAY!
So I thought I would mention that the next book that I'm reviewing is kind of a controversial one for me. I usually review YA books, but Fifty Shades of Grade is very obviously an adult book and so there will be an adult review and spoiler to match. I hope that no one underage reads it but really there is nothing I can do make sure that someone underage will read. Just read on with caution. This book is very sexual, so expect that and possibly adult language. I'm only human :)

No I haven't forgotten about you!

I know I haven't been working on this blog as much as I have in the past but I have some pretty important personal life changes going on at the moment. I'm still reading Family Storms by V.C Andrews and hope to have a review ready by next week sometime but I make no promises.
What are these life changes you ask?
Well number one I'm switching from having two part time jobs to having one full time job as of next Friday
And number two, I'm moving out of my parents house which involves a whole lot of packing. I never knew I had so much stuff.
Finally, getting college stuff ready for the fall. Yup I'm already planning that far ahead.
So let's make a deal fellow readers,

Update

So if you've been following this blog closely, you'll realize that a few of the books on the Currently Reading and Coming Up Next side bar have been changed. I do have an explanation. 
I'm hitting a pretty busy time of the year, not to mention life in general. I don't have the time to read 600+ page books at the moment, so I'm going to try to keep to books under 400 pages for a while so I can post reviews and spoilers more frequently.
Hopefully this doesn't annoy anyone too much.

What's New on Books My Quiet Friends

So, I've been doing a ton of updates lately and I'm sure someone is getting freaking impatient. Can't say I blame you. But I'm trying to make it so I have at least 3 posts a week. It's pretty tricky, but will be worth it. So what is this one about? This is to tell you all the work that is going into this blog at the moment. On the side you will see that there are a couple new books up. One under the title of Classic Novel of the Month and another under Currently Rereading. If you're looking for an explanation on the Classic Novel, see the post below. And now to explain the currently rereading photo. 

The point of this is to tell you that I am not only reading the currently reading book, but I'm trying to reread some past books so maybe I can finish a series or read a sequel. Most of the time when I finish posting a review/spoiler the idea of what happened in that book wipes clean and I become engaged with the next one on the list. This causes a bit of an issue when I realize that this book is maybe first in a series or that the author is writing more. And so, in order to finish a series I'm going to have to start rereading some of the books I've already read. At this time, that means the book Eve by Anna Carey.

Update

So, why have there been next to no updates on the blog? I can answer that easily enough, I'm starting a Youtube channel as well as having this blog and so I've been a little distracted. I'll warn you this before I post the link, I have no idea what I'm doing on Youtube nor do I know how to use it, but I'm gonna learn. Let's face it, it's not like I knew how to write a book review either, but I've done ok so far. A Passing Thought (Update)

I  realize that the book that I'm reading now is a true story, and is a real book published from a journal. I don't think fairly I can write a book review about it, instead I think that I will write a form of spoiler mixed with a book review. It will not include a rating or things about characters, as the events and characters are real people that the author of this journal wrote about. Rather I will dig into the issues that are stated in the journal etcetera. I just thought I'd share that for anyone who has read Jay's Journal or is planning on reading it. Tell me what you think of this idea below.

Update

Unfortunately there has been a change to the Currently Reading section on the part of this blog. Instead of reading the City of Lost Souls as I intended, I am now planning to read Shelter (the book below it). This is because I haven't read the rest of the Mortal Instruments series for over a year and I can not clearly remember what happens. I still plan on reading the City of Lost Souls, but I just want to have the chance to read the other four books first so I can rate this book properly. Thanks for your understanding.
