This felt like a weird place to pick up. I think when the series is finished or continually putting out more issues I will be buying them as they come out again so I can reread past volumes in order to keep track of the story lines. I liked this one, just didn't quite love it. I look forward to seeing how this series continues.

My Rating: 5/5

There is something about this world that just sucks me in every time.  I think the ever-evolving characters, the changing setting and the dramatic stakes. This was continued on the path that the artist and author are taking us on. A heartbreaking path but one I'll continue on wherever it goes. While it's started a new arch I am curious to see how the rest of the series goes.  I look forward to rereading the volumes that are out and continuing on as the series is published.

As a finale, this was really well done. At first, upon entering the final plot points I felt a little disappointed but as I read it through I was happy that this was the decisions the creators made in ending the series. The characters were well written, the worlds were interesting and the plot was very out there but always interesting. I will be missing this world, but look forward to reading more stories with these creators.

Every time I pick up one of these graphic novels, I'm always entertained and enjoy the content. I will say that this one touched on a few things that some might not agree with (Pro-Choice), just as a warning. I have a feeling though that most people who have made it this far through the series are fairly liberal in their views. The ever changing setting in this series is so satisfying to read about, as you are never sure where the plot will go. I love our characters and I look forward to continuing on with the series. I know that I"m only one volume behind now and hope to pick it up as soon as libraries here reopen.

This is one of the Saga instalments that I haven't yet read, and what a wild ride it was. I had been rereading the series up until this point to continue with the series. And I absolutely love it. This installment as always was heartbreaking and thrilling. I love these characters so much, the different and ever-changing setting. I will say that this series continues to have adult themes, so if you aren't into that kind of violence, and sexual content, don't read them. I'm excited to continue on with the series.

This is starting to really unravel some of the mysteries that have been around since the start of the series. I'm enjoying unravelling where everyone came from and how the series might wrap up. I was grateful also to see how the series has grown each freaking volume. I'm nervous for the ending of the series, but happy that I read it.

It was super interesting to see the early 2000s Y2K fiasco that happens in an alternate past. At least past for me, in my current present. This series is so hard to talk about and explain without messing up timelines. I liked the story and the way the authors handled coming out in the group. I can't wait to continue the series. Hard to believe just 2 more volumes.

I really hoped that I would understand something more about this storyline or be a little more intrigued at this point and I"m just not quite there. I'm enjoying myself. It's ok, it's just ok though, not as great as I want it to be. I have heard wonderful things about the last instalments and I can't wait to get to them. This one delves a little more into KJ's inner feelings and the changes she's going (aside from the crazy ones). I'm loving the cliff hangers and can't wait to see how the plot wraps up. I'm trying to prepare myself for not all my questions being answered. Not my favourite ending, but a potential ending for this series for sure.

This one just didn't hit it as well as the first one did. I didn't find that the storyline was particularly interesting and I also thought that the plot dragged a bit in comparison. That being said I'm still interested in the storyline and where the plot is going. I do wonder what year we are currently in and I can only presume that it is more futuristic than 2016 based on the final panel. I also hope that we get to know the girls a bit more since they are depending so strongly on each other to make it through.

Part of me is really lost about what the hell this was but at the same time I loved it. There is a sense of intrigue, rebellion and wholesome content just due to the age of the characters that we are dealing with. I'm loving the Stranger Things vibes that this is giving off and I'm hoping to take out the rest of the books in the New Year. Sorry I ignored so many people who recommended this to me.

Somehow I keep expecting each issue not to live up to the next one, but somehow they keep the story going and keep me entertained. I wonder how the story will grow along with Hazel and how the new characters that were introduced will affect the storyline over time. I just wish I wasn't catching up to all that was out so fast.

I can't resist these freaking graphic novels. I love them to pieces and each one is more surprising than the last. Due to the vast setting and fantasy/science fiction aspect, there are still so many places this story can go. I love the way the art complements the story by being beautiful but still sharp and contrasting to the crude violent scenes.  I can't wait to continue the series and see where the story goes. I love our characters and wonder what other adventures they will go on.

So I binge read this while I was indulging in some beverages last night and I loved it! Just as much as the first one if not more. I think that this instalment did a really good job of giving some background to the first volume. Readers have been introduced to aspects of this world, but this really explains them. And while this still has very adult themes, they are less in your face in this second volume. I really love the art in these comics and there are times while reading that I pause just to appreciate the hard work that the creators obviously put into this series. I can't wait to continue on with the series next month (I'm trying to pace myself so  I don't run out of volumes that have been published). I am also interested in more graphic novels that are similar to this series, so if you have any suggestions please let me know.

Ok clearly, I loved this first volume that I read within 2 hours. I try to space out my reading of graphic novels so I don't just read those without a pause for other novels. I really loved this story and the adult aspect which I did have not experienced in a graphic novel before. I think the author and the artist did a wonderful job melding together their words and their artwork. I loved the characters, the world was extremely interesting and the narrative voice was fantastic. I can't wait to see where this story will go and hope to share it with my boyfriend (pretty sure I have him convinced to read it). I would note that this is a very adult storyline so if you're sensitive to nudity, swearing and adult themes I would not recommend.
